The Democratic Woman’s Club of Canton, Ohio was organized in 1920 (the same year women obtained the right to vote) and is the oldest women’s democratic club in the state of Ohio. This organization was founded to encourage the interest of women in, and to maintain the highest effectiveness of, the Democratic Party in local, state and national affairs.

The current execute committee and board members are proud to be an active part of this club and appreciate all the time and effort that has been contributed by past officers and board members to keep this organization alive, well and living in Canton, Ohio. We have had the privilege of knowing some of these upstanding citizens and are aware of all the good things they have done for the club, our community and the Democratic Party.

We want to extend a hand of friendship and welcome into our fold any and all Democratic women and/or men who might be interested in joining us.
