Platform:

• Neighborhoods: Start a program that would help homeowners repair deteriorating homes, sidewalks and curbs. The city could use community develoopment funds for this program. Expand community policing program thoughout city.
• Annexation: Aggressive annexation program - instead of selling our water for revenue, we should use it as a tool to encourage annexation and development.
• Downtown: With streetscape near completion, the city must now work with the owners to bring their buildings up to city code and get them occupied.
• Parks: Continue to upgrade our existing parks and recreational facilities. Develop new parks.
• Cable TV: Oppose Time Warner Cable's annual rate increases, limited programming and black out of Channel 32 when the Indians and Cavaliers are on. The citizens of Canton deserve better programming for the rates they are paying.
